TRINITY RIVER MURAL

In 2018, I was commissioned to create my largest mural to date, a 2400 sq ft canvas that still graces the former Ranch Style Beans on the Eastside of town. In the development of the mural I was inspired by the old Wild West, which this area had historical ties, the beautiful Texas sunsets, and a couple buddies sitting around a campfire enjoying some whiskey and good company. This was a bit of a dream come true for a couple reasons. First, I’ve loved created murals and art for as long as I can remember. This was a huge task, and was a huge accomplishment once completed. Second, Ranch Style Beans was my favorite since I was a kid. When visiting my grandparents I would always ask for the cowboy beans, which also influenced the mural. In order to complete the mural, I spent evening into the night on site, after spending my days working at The Integer Group. Needless to say, I was very sleep deprived, but it was well worth it.
